Ishika Malhotra :

"Alright doctors, it’s been a great year teaching and practising medicine with you all. I wish you all the best for the future. " As he walked out of the classroom, Professor Dhara greeted all of the students.

"Ugh, finally, I can’t wait to get back home." Liza, my batch mate, squealed as she hugged me and I returned the gesture. She was my one true friend throughout my university life.

"I know, but I’ll miss you, babe!" I sighed.

"I’m always coming to see you; you know I can’t live without you." She spoke, and I smiled in return. She walked out of the building to see her boyfriend, Danny , waiting for her outside. Liza and Danny were lucky enough to meet during high school. Liza was a gorgeous 5'6" tall girl with mahogany brown hair that reached her shoulders. On the other hand, Danny was in navy. Liza skipped to Danny, who was waiting with stretched arms to hold her. I stood at a distance watching them laugh and joke around.

"Hi Ishika!" Danny waved at me. "Have you packed everything? Who is coming to take you back to your home? "

"Dad’s coming! And yes, I’ve done all the packing, including this little missy’s too. " I replied, pointing to Liza, who gave me a smug smile.

"How about we go out for a few drinks tonight? It's our last night here, Ishika. " Liza pouted.

"Sure, I’m in!"

In case you’re wondering who I am, I’m Ishika Malhotra. I always adored Doctors and it was my dream to be one. I feel so proud of myself to be able to go back home and train with the chief doctor there. Though I’ve found my path to lead a good life in the future, I still haven’t found someone I could live my life with. With the help of Liza, I did date a few guys, but never really found anyone who would make me happy.

Abhimanyu Oberoi :

I stepped up on the stage where my father stood as he commenced the ceremony, earning cheers from people invited.

I’m Abhimaan Oberoi. A lot of people do not know this but my father not only handed over the company to me but also the mafia business today. After years of working in Canada, I’m finally back home to take on my duties as CEO and the mafia leader. Once the ceremony was over, I walked over to Ben, and my friends, Aditya and Tushar, the mafia’s top-ranked assassins’ , and also my good friends. Everyone bowed down and showed me their respects, and I asked them all to head to the banquet and begin the feast. At the end of the crowd, I was met with two lovely ladies, and they were the only reason to make me smile. I hugged my mother and kissed her on the cheek as she rested her head on my chest.

"Bend down Abhi !" she ordered.

I chuckled and bent down to meet my mum’s eyes. She kissed me on the cheek.

"You should smile more often, beta. It looks good on you. " She said, straightening the wrinkles on my shoulders of the shirt.

"Sure, mum," I said, nodding.

Then my eyes were distracted by the love of my life, Sarah. I lifted her and kissed her cheek lightly. From the side, I eyed my mother just walking away. She wasn’t very pleased when I told her about my relationship with Sarah. She was Ben’s sister. She was with Ben and me in Canada , and that’s when she caught my attention. She helped me through my vulnerable stages when we were alone in Canada, and from then on, Sarah has been a very special girl in my life. But here’s the thing I don’t think I really love her. I have seen my parents in love, and honestly that’s what I want too and I don’t think it’s possible with Sarah.

With that thoughts I joined my family for dinner.
